To all who have the opportunity to experience Captured Firefly Thank you for your curiosity in exploring this story. I created the instrumental music in 2002 to express an experience I had when I was 7 years of age. At my summer cottage I was fascinated by these little glowing fireflies. So much so, I wanted to have one or more as pets. This is my story as it unfolded for me.The words in this storybook have intentionally been left out. My hopes are that YOU, the reader; can create your own story, in your own words, own language. You may also wish to use it as a springboard for discussing death and any beliefs you may have about an afterlife. 

Teachers can enrich their curriculum by weaving it into a nature themeAfter I developed the storyboard and detailed imaging to portray the storyline, Blueberry Illustrations created the gorgeous visuals. The music and visuals work together to unfold the story for you.Exploring nature is one of the greatest gifts we can experience, no matter where we wander.Ultimately, I feel it is best to become one with nature, rather than to take from it.LOVE & LIGHT,
